BRICS Business Forum Holds Session on Women's Entrepreneurship
On October 26, a panel discussion "BRICS Women's Business Alliance: strengthening female entrepreneurship as a key factor for boosting BRICS economic cooperation" took place on the third day of the BRICS Business Forum 2020 in online format.

The event was attended by female representatives of large corporations of the BRICS countries: Petrobras, Progress Capital, Apollo Hospitals, China Resources, Motseng Investment Holdings, etc. Moderator of the session was Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Global Rus Trade, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance.

During the discussion experts shared the information about the current situation with the presence of women in the corporate and entrepreneurship world and outlined the main challenges for women in BRICS countries. Speakers also highlighted the prospects of cooperation within the Alliance, the economic impact of the pandemic on female business in the BRICS countries and possible contribution of the BRICS WBA to women's entrepreneurship development.

The participants also provided some recommendations and specific initiatives to inspire and help women. It is worth emphasizing that the Alliance members are eager to cooperate in the fields of innovative development, consumer goods, healthcare, inclusive economy and tourism.
