On November 2, the Establishment Meeting of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance was held in online format. The event was attended by the representatives of all five national chapters of the Alliance.

During the meeting, the Alliance members unanimously approved the text of the Declaration on the Establishment of the BRICS WBA, as well as its future areas of cooperation.

Activities of the Alliance will provide a powerful impetus for the development of new partnerships in such areas as online education and digital literacy, export via e-commerce channels, healthcare, food security and environmental sustainability, inclusive economy, creative industries and tourism.

The focus areas were chosen taking into account global socio-economic agenda and business interests of the WBA members.
