Special Mentorship Sessions
Mentorship is important not only for the professional but also for the personal development of women and can play a key role in expanding their business
The expert mentors were invited to share knowledge on key subjects like Access to Finance, Digital Marketing and Branding, E-commerce know how, Effective Communication, Legal, Leadership and Marketing, Financial and Risk Planning to help women in their entrepreneurial journey
Digital Literacy and Digital Financial Literacy Training Programmes
The members of the BRICS WBA have been deliberating upon the importance of holding such programs as these act as the critical enablers of empowerment of women
Several module-based training programs were organized in order to enhance the digital and technical skills of women, especially rural women
Pre-incubation Programme
A pre-incubation program offered a knowledge sharing and learning platform to nascent women entrepreneurs for them to launch their business idea and develop it into a marketable Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
In this process, learnings were imparted on the key aspects such as entrepreneurship and idea journey, goal setting, sales and marketing, customer validation, operational planning and team building, legal compliances etc. and further handholding to facilitate access to finance
Special Sessions with Women Leaders
Special Sessions with women leaders from STEM fields for busting the gender stereotypical perceptions related to STEM and encourage women to choose tech and related fields for higher growth career opportunities were also organized
Efforts towards gender inclusion and workplace and advancement of women in management and leadership roles through focused training sessions were also undertaken
Talk on Empowerment through Cybersecurity
A cybersecurity workshop was conducted to empower women with comprehensive knowledge regarding their roles and responsibilities in navigating the digital landscape
The workshop aimed to equip women with essential skills and strategies to ensure safe internet usage, safeguard their devices and personal information from potential hacking threats, and effectively prevent instances of fraud
In collaboration with United Nations Global Compact Network India "6th Gender Equality Summit" was held with an aim to reverberate the global commitment towards developing a strong roadmap for gender equality
This forum had diverse stakeholders engage in the dialogue to make gender equal future. The summit witnessed over 300 leaders across the sectors exchanging insights on women's empowerment
Panel Discussion on Womenomics: Empowering Women
The objective of the discussion was to make action-oriented recommendations on how to improve economic outcomes for women in the context of the SDGs, promoting industry leadership roles, entrepreneurship and STEM education
The highlights during these discussions included redefining women's leadership through digital skilling; community leadership at the grassroots; enhancing women's participation in the non-traditional workforce; adopting best practices for women-led entrepreneurship, etc.
Roundtable on Women with Disabilities and World of Work
The objective of the roundtable was to share and discuss the roles of various stakeholders, successful strategies in bridging the gaps between education and skilling and entrepreneurship development, and diversity and inclusion in the workplace for women with disabilities
Launch of the Green Exporters Program
"Green Exporters Program" was launched to help women-led small and medium enterprises sustainably accelerate their business and learn about:
