The 2022 BRICS Women's Leadership Forum and the Award Ceremony of BRICS Women Innovation Contest will be held by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), both online and offline on May 31 in Beijing.

The Contest is a major initiative proposed by the Chinese State Leader at the 2020 BRICS Summit and applauded by other four state heads. Upholding the people-oriented concept, the Contest is to recognize outstanding businesswomen devoted to promoting social welfare and economic development in different fields across BRICS nations, promote the exchange of best practices and innovative initiatives led by women, and thus to advance the cooperation among businesswomen across BRICS nations.

The Forum, under the theme of "Let Your Inner Strength Shine Through" will feature the Opening Ceremony, the Award Ceremony, the Presentation of the Outcome Document, and two Panel Discussions. Chinese and foreign senior government officials and business leaders, representatives of international organizations, foreign institutions in China, and business associations, diplomats from BRICS countries to China, as well as outstanding women representatives from BRICS countries will be invited to the Forum to share their insights and viewpoints.
