On March 9, 2023, Sergey Ryabkov, the Russian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs met with Anna Nesterova, the Chairperson of the BRICS WBA Russian Chapter, in Moscow.

They discussed the results and promising directions of the Alliance's work. The Chairperson of the BRICS WBA Russian Chapter presented the projects and initiatives, including an expert dialogue on ESG-agenda and energy security, the BRICS School of Financial Literacy and Security for Women, and the BRICS White Paper on Care Economy.

One of the main topics at the meeting was the key project of the Russian Chapter – the BRICS Women Business Alliance Platform, which will become a common information and communication tool for women entrepreneurs in the BRICS countries.

Sergey Ryabkov thanked Anna Nesterova for the work and expressed hope for further fruitful activity of the BRICS Women Business Alliance.
