Currently, the main mechanism for the development of business cooperation between the BRICS countries is BRICS Business Council, represented mainly by large businesses. Female entrepreneurs of BRICS countries are mostly owners of micro, small and medium business, and the share of women-business leaders in the BRICS countries is about 30% while in the world the average rate amounts to slightly above 20%.

It is expected that the first meeting of the members of the Alliance will be held in early April in the midterm meeting of the BRICS Business Council in Moscow.
