Initiative to Create BRIСS Women’s Business Alliance Announced at Meeting of BRICS Leaders and Business Council

Vladimir Putin, together with other leaders of the BRICS countries, took part in a meeting with members of the association’s Business Council, where he mentioned the creation of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.

“We also count on the assistance of the business community in the practical implementation of Russia’s idea of ​​launching the BRICS public-private dialogue “Women and the Economy.” The first meeting within this format was successfully held on the sidelines of the BRICS International Women’s Congress and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Russia in July this year. The issue of creating a BRICS women’s business alliance for professional communication among women entrepreneurs is also currently being considered.”
