On September, 18-20, 2024, the Fourth Eurasian Women’s Forum will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The Forum is a major influential international platform that enables women leaders from all continents to engage in a dialogue and adopt joint decisions on key issues.
On September, 20, 2024, in the framework of the Forum, the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance will hold the open session “The Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in the BRICS Countries”, at which Alliance’s representatives and entrepreneurs from BRICS countries will take part.
At the session, the speakers will discuss how the expanded BRICS format has influenced the development of entrepreneurship and the strengthening of trade and economic cooperation in the BRICS space.
The participant will bring up the following topics during the session:
- What impact has the accession of new countries had on the business agenda and business environment of the member-states?
- What approaches are being used to find new points of contact and develop multilateral business cooperation?
- What areas of cooperation are a priority in the context of the expansion of the association?
- What joint projects are being implemented to develop economic ties among the BRICS countries?
The event is organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS). The Forum operator is the Roscongress Foundation.
