Chaiperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance visits Indonesia

From 10 to 11 February 2025, Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance  visited Indonesia.

On the first day of the visit, 10 February 2025, Anna Nesterova met with Mr. Didit Ratam, Head of the Bilateral Committee for Russia, Georgia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN)

The meeting was also attended by Mrs. Joyce Budisusanto, Head of the Permanent Committee for European Region of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Mrs. Rinawati Prihatiningsih, Chief Operating Officer of Infinitie Berkah Energi, Deputy Chairman of Human Resources, Research and Development of the Indonesian Business Women’s Association (IWAPI) and Mr. Vitaly Stogov, Regional Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in ASEAN.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS WBA Anna Nesterova spoke about the structure of  the Alliance, its key activities and upcoming events during the Brazilian BRICS Presidency in 2025, in particular the second BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum, the second BRICS Women’s Startup Contest and the BRICS+ Agricultural Investment and Trade Summit 2025.

Mr. Didit Ratam noted the importance of developing women’s business cooperation between Indonesia and BRICS. He emphasized that Indonesia has 97% of small and medium-sized enterprises, 64% of which are headed by women.
