On June 18, 2025, at the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was solemnly signed between the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance and National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM).
The Memorandum was signed by Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, and Saliza Abdullah, Deputy President of the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM).
Since starting from January, 1, 2025, Malaysia is a BRICS partner state, the Alliance strives to explore collaborative opportunities with business community of the country. The signing of the Memorandum marks the deepening of cooperation between the BRICS WBA and NAWEM and reinforces the mutual intention of the Parties to partner in promoting and supporting women entrepreneurs across the expanding BRICS space.
