On September 18, 2025, the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance and Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “World Youth Festival Directorate” launched the BRICS International Youth Mentoring Program at the World Youth Festival Assembly in Nizhny Novgorod.
“The aim of the initiative is to form a new generation of business leaders capable of effectively developing international relations and promoting innovative solutions on a global scale. Participants of the program will have access not only to the best practices of mentors, but also to our network of business contacts of the Common BRICS WBA Digital Platform, which has already been joined by businesswomen from more than 40 countries,” said Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.
The program invites young people aged 18 to 35 and covers eight areas:
-medicine;
-media and marketing;
-IT and digitalization;
-high-tech manufacturing;
-social entrepreneurship;
-education;
-creative industries;
-agriculture and food.
Young entrepreneurs will be able to receive individual consultations, take part in workshops, webinars, internships, and present their startups to potential investors.
The mentors are founders and CEOs of companies from Russia, Egypt, Iran, Indonesia, and South Africa. The best projects of the participants will be presented at the Forum of the World Youth Festival, which will be held in Krasnoyarsk in 2026.
“The mentoring program is a powerful resource for young entrepreneurs from the BRICS countries. The program provides participants with practical tools from mentors who are successful members of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance to scale their businesses, enter new markets and attract investment, as well as find potential partners. The project not only promotes professional growth, but also lays the foundation for long-term economic cooperation and strengthening business ties in the BRICS space,” said Vakhtang Hiklandze, Deputy Director General of the Directorate of the World Youth Festival.
