On October 10, 2025 a delegation from Nigeria headed by Niger State First Lady, Her Excellency Hajiya Fatima Mohammad Bago visited the pharmaceutical plant Velpharm-M, the full-cycle medication-manufacturing plant located in Moscow, Zelenograd Administrative District.

President of the company, member of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Liudmila Shcherbakova provided an overview of Velpharm’s capabilities as well as the manufacturing process for pharmaceutical products. The sides also explored potential areas for further collaboration.
