Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, delivered a special address at the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, highlighting the immense potential of women-led businesses to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

He outlined three critical priorities for women entrepreneurs: access to capital, access to markets, and an enabling framework of rules.

“If we can connect women entrepreneurs across BRICS, help them find markets for their products and services, and create an environment where they can do business more easily, we can turn today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities.”

His address reinforced the importance of strengthening cross-border collaboration, simplifying trade processes, sharing knowledge and creating greater market opportunities for women entrepreneurs across BRICS.
