- Goal: to prolong people’s lives without restrictions caused by age-related changes and chronic diseases.
- Brief description: Regular medical examinations and preventive examinations have been organized. Regional geriatric centers are being built, gerontological departments are being opened. A system of long-term care is being built, thanks to which elderly people can live in modern boarding houses or stay in a family and receive help in familiar conditions. The so-called “Silver Universities” are being created – literary clubs, music and sports sections that help keep citizens of mature age active.
