Day care in government institutions

Goal: to help women who work in government institutions to balance their careers and household activities.
Brief description: In 2018, The Government of Ethiopia passed a regulation stating that all public service organizations should provide a day care service for their women workers. E.g. The FDRE’s Information Network Security Administration (INSA) is one the federal government institutions that set up day care for its employees early in 2018. The facility provides child care for infants (4 months) through to 4-year-olds, and services are categorized as follows: a) 4 months to 1 year (toilet training); b) 1 year to 2 years (play, storytelling); c) 2 years to 4 years (life skills, as well as reading and writing).
