“Woman-Leader. BRICS.” Press Conference

On August 28, 2026, a press conference was held at the TASS Press Center as part of the launch of the application campaign for “Woman-Leader. BRICS.”

“Woman-Leader. BRICS” is a focus area of the flagship educational program “Woman-Leader” – the Senezh Management Workshop of the Presidential Platform “Russia – the Country of Opportunities” and the Council of the Eurasian Women’s Forum under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, which has graduated more than 1,800 women from 43 countries.

BRICS” program is aimed at supporting the development of the participants’ cultural literacy through a systematic understanding of the cultural, value‑based, and communicative characteristics of the BRICS countries; fostering the participants’ competencies in the field of international relations..

Addressing the confrence گالینا کارلووا, Chairperson of the Council of the Eurasian Women’s Forum at the Federation Council and Senator, emphasized the iportance of the Program:

“The interest in the international track of the ‘Woman-Leader. BRICS’ program is very high, and the outcomes are specific and practical, so it was decided to continue it in order to help implement these initiatives at the new stage of the program. Joint training of women leaders and collaborative work on creating social projects that will be implemented in the BRICS countries, all of this helps us get to know and understand each other better, serves to strengthen trust, and promotes the development of cooperation“.

During the press conference, آنا نسترووا, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, noted the Alliance’s role in advancing the initiative:

BRICS”program builds competencies among its graduates and unlocks their potential, while the Alliance provides a ready-made environment for subsequent implementation“.
