Create the Future: The III BRICS Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship Forum in Ekaterinburg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 15-16, 2026, Ekaterinburg hosted the <strong>III BRICS Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship Forum<\/strong>, bringing together more than 200 representatives of business, government, expert communities, youth entrepreneurship, major banks and financial institutions from 19 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held on the sidelines of the International Youth Festival 2026, the Forum was organised by the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women\u2019s Business Alliance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Forum&#8217;s Strategic partenr is Gazprombank (Joint Stock Company).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Forum&#8217;s partners are Russian-Thai Business Council and Thai sportswear manufacturer WARRIX.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The geography of the Forum reflected the increasingly broad international reach of the BRICS business agenda. Create the Future.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>The message reflected the Forum\u2019s practical ambition &#8211; to move beyond international dialogue and create the conditions for partnerships, investments, market access and joint projects.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Opening a New Space for Cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forum opened with welcoming remarks from representatives of Russia, Iran and China, alongside <strong>Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women\u2019s Business Alliance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liliya Rizvanova, Head of the Department on Russia&#8217;s Participation in BRICS, Foreign Policy Planning Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, addressed participants on behalf of Deputy Foreign Minister and Russia\u2019s Sherpa for BRICS Sergey Ryabkov. Pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biological products, medical devices and diagnostics remain priority areas for such cooperation. Her experience demonstrated the importance of building bridges between fundamental science, entrepreneurship and practical medical application.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The concluding message of the session called for the next step to be the transformation of dialogue into projects, stronger links between business, science and government, and consistent work to remove barriers to research, technology transfer, manufacturing cooperation and market access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>BRICS and ASEAN: Connecting Generations, Markets and Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A distinctive element of the III Forum was the interactive session <strong>\u201cBRICS-ASEAN: A Case Study of Generational Dialogue in Entrepreneurship.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session brought together established businesses, governmental institutions and leaders of emerging technology ventures from BRICS and ASEAN countries and asked them to address the same real-world entrepreneurial challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion covered entering new markets, cooperation between startups and major corporations, technology development, scaling businesses, talent development and the creation of international projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div It also highlighted the potential of the BRICS space to connect different cultural traditions, creative approaches and entrepreneurial models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, creativity was presented not only as a form of cultural expression, but also as a growing economic force capable of generating new products, partnerships and business opportunities across BRICS markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forum\u2019s broader cultural programme reinforced this message.
