nutritional safety, and also guarantees the child access to preschool education and its perma nence in it.

In addition, Brazil Carinoso assumes the allocation of resources from the Fund for the Support and Development of Basic Education and Advanced Training of Specialists in the Field of Education (Fundeb) to municipalities for the construction of new schools and preschool institutions. State or af filiated kindergartens that have children engaged in Bolsa-Família receive a 50 percent increase in the transfer of federal resources.
