Avystos is a green business which focuses on urban mining through electronic waste recycling. the company was established in 2022 with a motive to address the incorrect disposal of e-waste which is harmful to the environment and ecosystem. our service includes but not limited to E-waste recycling solutions , secure data destruction and precious metals recovery. we proud to share that since the inception of our company, we have recycled over 15 tons of e-waste from landfills. and to date we have made social, environmental and economic impact by creating two permanent jobs, 6 casual employment and have noticed great behavioural changes in terms of e-waste handling from impacted groups. our goal is to widen our impact reach by 50% in 2024 and in order for us to archive this we need funding on R1 000 000 to purchase a smelting machine. this will increase our revenue and create 3 more job and will eradicate over 30 tons of e-waste from ending up in landfills.

The project is for the cultivating sustainable strategies for agriculture that is demonstrated through our innovative biomass project using babagrass to produce renewable energy and reduce emissions. This project goes beyond energy production; it addresses food security and rural development by creating employment opportunities within the community. Additionally, babagrass serves as a vital solution for cattle feed, providing relief to farmers struggling with drought conditions. This multifaceted approach not only enhances the livelihoods of rural populations but also contributes to environmental sustainability. Youth involvement is crucial in driving such initiatives, as it brings fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to longstanding societal challenges.

We are a start up looking to be the first South African sustainability and recycling school. we want to be a mobile school teaching communities about recycling and sustainability. we want to buy back the products they make to sell on the market. Using natural fibres banana- which would be in landfill from the farms. And Water Hyacinth which is polluting our fresh water sources.

My main objectives is to help change the livelihood of women and Youth particularly waste pickers by training them to convert waste into usable product , instead of selling their collected waste  to big recyclers at a low , low price which is a great challenge to them. The project aimed to reduce future piling up of waste dumping in South Africa particularly in Local the Municipalities.

I was also a waste picker at one stage and experienced this challenges faced by waste pickers of low price paid to them by recyclers  . I was only paid R 102.00 with eight full huge bulk bags of waste plastic bottles. I also had to pay for Transport . The situation inspired me to commit to part my talent/ skill through training of interested Women and Youth in order to make better living for them. Other objective is make you the reader of this document aware of  the services I provide to you as end-user.
