Since 1998, we have been searching for fundamental methods to help farmers and promote rural economic development. This is the reason why we are building a ‘digital service platform for rural revitalization’. Firstly, we assign a digital identity to each asset, so that all production and operation data surrounding this asset will be recorded and used to serve farmers and agricultural production. Subsequently, digital assets were exported to scenarios such as finance, insurance, and social services, making these services more convenient and efficient. Ultimately, these scenarios will serve every agricultural producer. For example, in Jilin Province, we have sorted out farmers’ land assets and developed financial products based on land mortgage and pledge with banks. This year, we have issued more than 10 billion yuan in loans to farmers. At the same time, we overlay satellite remote sensing data with land and biological asset data to monitor crop growth status, provide disaster loss analysis, and help farmers obtain compensation from insurance companies. In Heilongjiang Province, we help establish an agricultural supply chain from seeds to tables through digital management of the entire agricultural production process, and serve practitioners at all levels. These services are currently being implemented in more than ten provinces in China and have achieved good results, helping over 180 million farmers.

This project innovatively uses a vast number of distributed nodes to build an edge computing platform, pioneering the “self-built + co-built” model in the industry, gathering idle computing, storage, and bandwidth resources from users’ homes, connecting thousands of households into a cloud computing network, and providing enterprises with high-quality and low-cost cloud computing services. By replacing high-cost server nodes of enterprises with low-cost distributed nodes, it helps enterprises save costs and accelerate their development.
