Panel session «BRICS: creative industries as a growth factor»

In the modern world, business in creative industries forms new niches at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and creativity, expanding opportunities for the application of human capital. Creative industries not only create jobs and highly competitive products, but also contribute to improving the quality of life of people and fulfilling their potential. The development of creative infrastructure enables the BRICS countries to shape a positive image, to attract more international investments, and contributes to the growth of their tourism potential.

  • What development strategies are needed to increase the contribution of the creative economy to the GDP of the BRICS countries?
  • What support measures for creative industries are required for sustainable growth of the creative sector in the BRICS countries?
  • What are the barriers to the development of creative industries today in the BRICS countries?
  • What are the priority areas for the development of creative industries in the BRICS countries?
  • What are the export potential of creative industries and opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation among the BRICS countries?

These and other issues will be discussed at the session by experts from various spheres of creative economy – cinema and animation, fashion and gallery business, music and industrial design, tourism, gastronomy, folk arts and crafts.
