The Community Outreach Education, capacity building and Sensitization Project aims to address the critical issue of cutting down Shea trees in the Upper West Region of Ghana. This initiative focuses on raising awareness about the ecological and economic importance of Shea trees to the local communities, emphasizing their role in environmental preservation and sustainable livelihoods. Through educational workshops, community dialogues, and collaborations with local leaders, the project seeks to change attitudes towards tree cutting and promote the conservation of Shea trees. It also highlights the benefits of sustainable Shea harvesting, supporting both environmental health and economic growth for future generations.
