About:

The program aims to Empower over 50 Artisans & Designers with Skills Training & Development, targeting Women and Youth, focusing on Black South African Citizens from Rural and Township communities who possess exceptional skills in Sewing Modern traditional apparel and garments, crafting cultural beads, accessories, leather bags, and shoes, and those passionate in carpentry, photography and videography and Graphic Design, providing them with behind-the-scenes business knowledge of establishing and running a Globally recognized fashion house. Our Mission is to address the skills gaps within the South African Artisan Industries by Empowering Young Rural & Township based Artisans through Skills Development, Innovation and Business Solutions to Help them improve their Crafts, Monetize their Artistry and find formal employment, fostering an environment where African Designers can thrive and contribute to the Global Crafts, Fashion & Artistry Landscape.
