“Journey of Intangible Cultural Heritage(ICH) for People with Disabilities” is an innovative project that integrates intangible cultural heritage (ICH), people with disabilities and tourism industry. Against the backdrop of the Hainan free trade port and the development of Hainan as an international tourism consumption center, the project uses ICH as a bridge. By creating the first privately-owned ICH comprehensive museum in China, Display all domestic intangible cultural heritage projects and the craftsmanship of inheritors. This allows visitors to enjoy the pleasures of tourism while gaining a comprehensive understanding and experiencing the charm of ICH culture, all the while supporting and paying attention to the important role played by the disabled community in ICH inheritance and their spirit of self-reliance and dedication to excellence as artisans. This project further enriches the development paths of ICH in Hainan. Leveraging the advantages of talent introduction strategies and other policies in the Hainan Free Trade Port, the project enriches the content of ICH culture in Hainan through “bringing in” while “going out” to provide technical support for “ICH + Disability + Other Cultures” to BRICS countries, achieving the preservation and inheritance of culture. The project effectively integrates “ICH + Disability + Tourism,” with a focus on training disabled individuals and other special groups. Through professional training, it helps disabled individuals master ICH techniques, transforming them into living carriers of ICH. This expands the range of practitioners, promotes employment and entrepreneurship among the disabled, and contributes to local economic development. In summary, the “Disability and Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Journey” is a project filled with love and wisdom. It breathes new life into ICH culture through tourism and enables the disabled to inherit and pass on techniques and artistry. I am glad to see that he smiles like flowers and is safe and sound at the age of age.
