ULALA HOLDINGS (PTY) Ltd
About:

The current form of farming, namely small-scale farming address the challenges faced by a marginalized individual in a rural community. Projects such as this of Ulala Holdings play a vital role in household food security, dietary diversity, and health. Despite this, women continue to be economically marginalized, and their contributions often go unrecognized. The nature of this project can assist women in farming by fostering higher levels of autonomy through knowledge building, collective action, and commercialization opportunities. Agricultural farming creates spaces for women to become more autonomous and empowered at household and community levels and subsequently through participation in producer groups (locally produced foods). The participation of women in farming is very important and can provide encouraging results as sources of employment and investment.
Furthermore, enhanced breeding of livestock and cultivation practices of crops and fields; result in higher yields and positively affects our food supply and environment. With the growing nature of global warming, crop farming compliments the environment with the release of carbon dioxide and oxygen.
