My name is Hosaena Getahun, and I am a civil engineering graduate with a passion for both engineering and fashion. After completing my degree in 2016, I worked as a highway and CADD engineer for nearly five years. During the pandemic, I decided to channel my creativity and love for my cultural heritage into a side business called Ze’el Clothing.
Ze’el is a brand that celebrates resilience, family, and Abyssinian roots. Together with my mother, a skilled cultural cloth designer, we create vibrant pieces that honor our traditions while incorporating modern trends. Ze’el is where the past meets the present, and each design tells a story of strength, beauty, and pride in our cultural identity.
