A delegation of pharmaceutical companies MedExpress and FidsonHealthcare Plc from Nigeria<\/strong> arrived in Moscow to take part in a series of events, including an offsite session of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance “Pharmaceutical Cooperation Without Borders: Russia – Nigeria”<\/em>, B2B meetings, as well as a production tour at the Velpharm-M<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A production tour and bilateral negotiations on cooperation formats marked a logical continuation of the dialogue initiated by the parties at the Pharma West Africa exhibition<\/strong><\/em>, which took place in Lagos (Nigeria) in April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The paricipation of Velpharm-M in the exhibition was facilitated by the Russian Chapter of the BRICS WBA within the framework of its business mission to Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Nesterova<\/strong>, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS WBA<\/em>, also adressed the meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ultimate goal of the Alliance is to assist in finding reliable partners across the BRICS countries, particularly in establishing meaningful cooperation between the Russian and Nigerian companies.

The Nigerian delegation also visited the Loginov Moscow Clinical Scientific Center<\/strong>. During the visit the delegates underwent an oncological check-up<\/em> e got medical recommendations<\/em>. They were given a tour of varios departments and blocks of the Center<\/em>. At the end of the programme, Igor Khatkov<\/strong>, Director of the Loginov Moscow Clinical Scientific Center<\/em>, held a meeting with the Nigerian delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
