Session V at the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit 2026 focused on Building Without Barriers: Advancing Women-Led Startups and Innovation Ecosystems. The discussion explored financing options for women-led startups and reforms to ease barriers to business registration, collateral, public procurement and cross-border markets.
Session IV at the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit 2026 focused on Beyond Financial Access: Towards Women’s Economic Empowerment & Resilience. The discussion examined how to help women use financial and digital services meaningfully, through digital skills, consumer protection, products designed around their needs and safe, affordable payment systems.
Session III at the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit 2026 focused on Innovating for Women’s Health: Bridging Primary Care, Technology, and Access. The discussion explored how digital health, telemedicine and AI could extend primary and preventive care to women in rural and underserved communities, supporting early screening and better maternal health outcomes.
Session II at the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit 2026 focused on Building Resilient Agri-Food Systems through Women’s Leadership. The discussion explored women’s participation from production to markets, with a focus on access to technology, finance and investment. It also examined climate-resilient agriculture and women’s role in strengthening food security across BRICS nations.
Session I at the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit 2026 focused on advancing women in STEM, digital technologies and innovation, from classroom learning to economic opportunity. The discussion covered strengthening girls’ participation in STEM, connecting skilling to market needs, and providing recognised qualifications for women beyond formal education and employment.
At the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit 2026 in New Delhi, two publications were launched: Digital Public Infrastructure: Enabling Women-Led Development and Beyond Access: Women’s Economic Empowerment & Resilience Across BRICS Nations. Together, they highlight pathways to strengthen women-led development, financial inclusion and economic resilience across BRICS economies.
