On May 13-15, 2026, the 11th Annual Meeting of the New Development Bank Board of Governors took place in Moscow.

安娜·内斯特罗娃, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, took part in the Opening Ceremony of the event.

The Opening Ceremony was attended by H.E. Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank (NDB), who emphasized key priorities of the NDB.

The key priorities of the NDB are technological transformation and tokenized digital assets, expansion of settlements in national currencies, and the growing role of innovation as a driver of improved quality of life and access to services.

The Bank is launching the development of a new strategy focused on:

• local currency capital markets development;
• expansion of membership and partnerships;
• digital infrastructure development – innovation and low-carbon projects;
• investments in education and healthcare.

Further priorities include strengthening project preparation, diversifying financial instruments, and advancing digital transformation.
