印度工商联合会（FICCI）作为官方秘书处 BRICS 女性商业联盟, successfully convened the BRICS WBA Mid-Term Meeting, bringing together Chapter Chairs and Working Group leaders from across BRICS nations.

The session opened with a welcome address and update on BRICS WBA 2026 activities by Ms. Avarna Jain, Chairperson, BRICS Women’s Business Alliance & Vice Chairperson, Saregama India Limited, followed by presentations from all six Working Group Chairs and Co-Chairs for sharing progress and key outcomes from their respective working groups.

The meeting also featured a special presentation on the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) by Ms. Anna Roy, Senior Advisor, NITI Aayog, highlighting India’s unified platform to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship through mentorship, funding, partnerships, and business support.
Chapter Chairs from BRICS Nations shared inputs and key requirements, reinforcing the collective commitment to advancing women-led development across BRICS nations. The meeting was moderated by Ms. Uma Seth, Assistant Secretary General, FICCI.
