Goal: to improve the qualification of Community Health Workers (CHWs).

Brief description: CHW Central is an online community of practitioners bringing together program managers, experts, practitioners, researchers and supporters of CHW programs. The website is a virtual meeting place for the exchange of resources and experience, as well as for the discussion and development of issues and ideas on programs and policies in relation to CHW. CHW Central expands access to online information to improve the quality of programs and services for care workers.

Components:
• Meetings and events: conferences and events of interest to the CHW community.
• Resources: The CHW Central resource database includes hundreds of case studies, journal articles, educational materials, podcasts, etc.
