BRICS WBA Final Working Groups Meeting and Annual Session to Be Held in October

On October, 19-20, 2024, fa series of working events of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance will be held in Moscow ahead of the XVI BRICS Summit.

On October 19, 2024, the final events of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance will be held, including meetings of the working groups and the Annual Session.

On October 19, 2024, in the first half of the day, final meetings of 7 working groups of the BRICS WBA will be held in such areas as innovative development, food security and agriculture, inclusive economy, healthcare, sustainable development and the ESG agenda, tourism, and creative industries. At the meetings, members of the working groups, representatives of the expert and business communities of the BRICS countries will summarize the work done during the period of Russia’s BRICS Chairship, discuss the status of the implementation of projects and initiatives, and outline a further work plan.

On October 19, 2024, in the afternoon, the Annual Session will be held, at which the Chairpersons and representatives of the BRICS WBA National Chapters will discuss the results of work for 2024, officially agree and sign the final documents of the Alliance, including the Annual Report and the Terms of  Regulation on the Establishment of the BRICS WBA Regional Offices, which will be presented and handed over to the Heads of State at the XVI BRICS Summit. 

On October 20, 2024, a cultural program is planned for representatives of the foreign delegation of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, which will include a tour of Moscow.
