Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS WBA meets the ASEAN Secretariat

On February 11, 2025 as a part of the visit to Indonesia, Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance met San Lwin, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community.

The meeting was also attended by Evgeny Zagaynov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to ASEAN.

During the meeting Anna Nesterova presented the Alliance, its key goals and activities, including the II BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum.

Taking into account the accession of Indonesia to the BRICS as a full member and Malaysia and Thailand  – as partner countries. The parties also discussed the possible formats  of cooperation that could  facilitate the synergy of the BRICS and ASEAN business agendas.
