Goal: to strengthen primary care provision in traditionally underserved communities.
Brief description: The MDP consists of reducing the shortage and improving the distribution of primary care physicians in Brazil, thus reducing inequalities in access to services, as well as the improvement of the infrastructure of basic health units, the expansion of vacancies in undergraduate courses and medical residences and the emergency provision.
