Goal: to help solve the challenge of youth unemployment by funding YES participants to take on roles in the different care economy sectors.

Brief description: The YES Programme was launched as a business-led collaboration to provide 12-month quality work experience opportunities for unemployed youth, together with training opportunities and other support. Over 400 young people per year are placed as assistants in Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres through the YES programme. ± 40 hours of work readiness training is provided upfront and mentorship is offered throughout the year. As a result, the programme provides the delivery of care services as well as youth employment in the country
