Coproduction is becoming a key driver of growth in the film and animation industries in the BRICS countries, opening up new opportunities for international collaboration. This panel session will bring together industry leaders from BRICS countries and experts from partner countries.
Speakers will discuss successful co-production models, financing mechanisms, joint infrastructure development and adaptation to different regulatory frameworks. Special attention will be given to the potential for international cooperation, strategic partnerships and opportunities to integrate the creative industries on a global scale.
The session will be moderated by Yuliana Slashcheva, Chairperson of the Board of SMF Studio/Soyuzmultfilm, Chairperson of the Russian Animation Film Association and Head of the BRICS WBA Russian Chapter Working Group on Creative Industries.
