Special economic zones, providing tax and customs benefits, infrastructure support and possessing high investment attractiveness, create favorable conditions for business development and investment attraction.
The BRICS countries account for about 3 thousand special and special economic zones, which is about 40% of the total number of SEZs worldwide.
As part of the discussion, representatives of the participating countries and partners of the association will discuss the potential for expanding cooperation between special economic zones within the BRICS.
The participants will consider the formats and mechanisms of interaction, regulatory issues and the use of the unique advantages of each country’s SEZ to ensure mutual economic growth, and will also analyze the possibility of converging approaches to regulating special economic zones in the BRICS space.
