On June 3, 2024, the Chairpersons of the National Chapters of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance solemnly signed the BRICS WBA Terms of Reference at the BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum.
The general partner of the BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum is Sberbank.
The work regulations will help ensure a clear understanding of the structure and goals of the BRICS WBA for the smooth and successful integration of new member countries into the Alliance’s working agenda and increasing the effectiveness of joint activities.
The document was signed by the Chairpersons of the National Chapters of the Alliance, including Anna Nesterova, Global Chairperson of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, Founder of the Watchmaking Manufactury “Palekh Watch”, Monica Monteiro, Institutional Director of Band Pay TV, President of the Council of the National Forum for Women Entrepreneurs within the scope of the National Confederation of Industry of Brazil, Chairperson of the BRICS WBA Brazilian Chapter, Zhao Haiying, Executive Vice President of Chief Strategy Officer of China Investment Corporation, Chairperson of the BRICS WBA Chinese Chapter, Marianne Ghali, Managing Director of Qalaa Holdings, Managing Director of Grandview Investment Holdings, Chairperson of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Egyptian Chapter, Sara Hassen Adem, CEO of Saos Group PLC, and Co-Owner and Deputy Manager of Sebata Agro-Industry, Chairperson of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Ethiopian Chapter, Lebogang Zulu, Chief Executive of Kokozu International, Board Chair of Africa Women’s Bank, and Executive Director of Kampara Group Holdings, Chairperson of the BRICS WBA South African Chapter.
It should be noted that from January 1, 2024, new member countries joined BRICS, including Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
