On June 3, a panel session “Tourism in BRICS: On the Way to Synergy” was held within the framework of the BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum.
The general partner of the BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum was Sberbank.
The session was moderated by Elena Chashchina, managing partner and co-owner of EPOTOS Group of Companies, Head of Working Group on Creative Industries and Tourism of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.
The session was attended by representatives of the business community and the public sector from Russia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, the UAE and Iran, in particular Her Royal Highness, Queen of Venda Nation, Tsakani Masia, Chairman of African Century Group. During the panel session, the guests discussed issues of ensuring comfortable and safe conditions for the movement and stay of tourists in the BRICS countries, and shared the proposals for the introduction of common quality standards of the BRICS countries in the tourism industry. Special attention was paid to the development of seamless tourism and the development of such kind of tourism as astrotourism.
