Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS WBA visits Egypt

On February 12, 2025 Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance met HE Ghada Nour, Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt.

The Egyptian side was also represented by Marianne Ghali, Chairperson of the Egyptian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, Marcia Daros, representing Brazilian WBA – Phd Fellow in Economics, Pakinam Kafafi, member of Egypt Chapter of the WBA and CEO of TAQA ARABIA,  Ghada Darwich, member of Egypt Chapter for WBA and Globeleq  Country Manager and Ghada Hammouda, Qalaa Group Chief Sustainability and Marketing Officer.

During the meeting Anna Nesterova presented the structure and key events of the Alliance, in particular  II BRICS Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum.

The parties also discussed the potential areas of cooperation between Russian and Egyptian business community.

HE Ms Ghada Nour, Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt marked that Egypt’s main exports to Russia are agricultural products. The main imports are wheat, industrial materials, and chemical products.

At the end of the meeting Anna Nesterova invited HE Ms Ghada Nour, Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt and the BRICS WBA Egyptian Chapter to take part in the upcoming forum.
