On September 29, as part of the BRICS WBA visit to Nigeria, the Russian delegation met with Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Honourable Minister of Women’s Affairs of Nigeria.
Ms. Anna Nesterova, head of the delegation, expounded on the Alliance’s activities and international initiatives. The Honorable Minister emphasized the importance of the projects presented and expressed support for establishing a BRICS WBA regional office in Nigeria to promote further cooperation with the country’s entrepreneurs.

At the meeting between the BRICS WBA with Ms. Aisha Rimi, CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), the parties covered investment opportunities for Russian businesses in Nigeria.
Ms. Liudmila Popova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting of Orel State University named after I.S. Turgenev, and Ms. Nataliia Vershinina-Adelman, Founder and CEO of United Migration Center Group of Companies, met with the Representatives of the University of Abuja and discussed the cooperative potential for joint educational programs.
At the meeting between the BRICS WBA delegation and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the parties analyzed the prospects of Russia-Nigeria coproduction in the field of animation.
Ms. Liudmila Shcherbakova, President of VELPHARM Group, and Ms. Anna Mesheryakova, Co-founder and CEO, Third Opinion AI, met with the Presidential Initiative for Unlocking Health Value Chain (PVAC).
Mr. Abdu Mukhtar, National Coordinator of the Initiative, highlighted the importance of developing the healthcare system in Nigeria. According to the agreement, as a start of cooperation, the Presidential Initiative will provide the list of drugs in demand in order for VELPHARM to submit a commercial proposal. Additionally, Third Opinion AI and their Nigerian counterpart discussed the possibility of the pilot launch of AI services in Nigerian hospitals.
During the bilateral meeting, Ms. Liudmila Shcherbakova, President of VELPHARM Group, and Ms. Chioma Dozie, CEO of Dochiva Pharmatech, agreed that Velpharm will start developing a commercial proposal for further discussion of cooperation formats.
The Third Opinion AI held a meeting with the top managers of the Medicaid Radio-diagnostics & Clinics and discussed key areas of potential partnership.
