The Russian Chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance held a meeting with AWEN focal points within the framework of the Pinnacle Entrepreneurs Forum 2025. The discussion brought together representatives from nine countries — Russia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
Ms. Anna Nesterova, The Chairperson of the Russian Chapter of the BRICS WBA, presented the Alliance, its key activities and projects, including the development of its regional offices and ongoing initiatives aimed at expanding cooperation among women entrepreneurs. Participants expressed strong interest in strengthening collaboration with the BRICS WBA and discussed the opportunity to establish a regional office in Cambodia to strengthen partnerships and promote joint initiatives as well as the potential BRICS–ASEAN initiatives and joint opportunities focused on women’s entrepreneurship.
Later in the evening, the Russian delegation of the BRICS WBA took part in the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network Award Gala Night, during which Anna Nesterova joined the Ceremony of the Chairwomanship Transition from Cambodia to Lao PDR.
The ceremony was held with the participation of high-level officials and was presided by:

▪ H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation of Cambodia;
▪ Marcos dos Reis da Costa, The Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Cambodia;
