The BRICS Creatives Festival is a South African event that brings together the major sectors of the creative industries, including fashion, crafts and arts, music, film and animation, dance, and the beauty industry. The festival’s objective is to advance the creative industry among BRICS countries, facilitate socio-economic development, enhance trade relations, reduce unemployment, and promote gender equality. Additionally, the festival will feature a reality show, which will include women representatives from various sectors of the creative industries, including fashion, theatre, dance, music, makeup, hairstyling, nail services, and jewellery, from BRICS countries. The winners of the reality show will be invited to South Africa to participate in the festival’s Grand Finale.
Applications are currently being accepted from delegates representing BRICS countries for participation in the festival. The format for the reality show has been finalised and applications will open in January 2025.
Project’s objectives:
– In October 2025, the company will be hosting a large-scale festival, which will cover a number of key sectors within the creative industries.
– The formation of strategic partnerships and economic cooperation among BRICS member states.
– The festival will promote the creative industry, reduce unemployment and advance gender equality through a reality show and other events.
