MEDEOR – BRICS HEALTHCARE MEDIA PLATFORM

The project “MEDEOR – BRICS Healthcare Media Platform” was initiated by the BRICS WBA Russia Chapter within the working group on healthcare in 2024.

MEDEOR – BRICS Healthcare Media Platform will serve as a pivotal mechanism for fostering an impartial and multilateral framework for global cooperation in public healthcare.

The main objectives of the MEDEOR BRICS Healthcare project are:

• To establish contacts and effective communication between scientists, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives;
• To create a database that reveals the full potential of healthcare systems in the BRICS countries;
• To organize global cooperation to improve the quality of life for citizens of the BRICS countries and contribute to economic and social development.

Key components of MEDEOR:

• Industry journal on healthcare (print and digital);
• Journal communities on social media;
• Network of 3 channels in messenger apps;
• Reference and abstract database of scientific publications (such as the Hirsch index).
