Zintsomi, based in Midrand, Johannesburg, is a female, black-owned storytelling company. Specializing in Storytelling performances and Training as well as in children’s books and storytelling products like Khalulu, the interactive soft doll. Zintsomi empowers diverse storytellers through culturally rich, innovative, and accessible education, fostering creativity, social change, and economic opportunities. The company uniquely blends traditional South African folklore with cutting-edge digital techniques, providing a transformative learning and heritage experience. By leveraging heritage and modern techniques, Zintsomi demonstrates that storytelling is not only a tool for personal and community growth but also a viable career path and business opportunity. The company has fifteen part-time employees and plans to expand.
Goals

The Ukukhanya kweSizwe Community Development is a non-profit organisation in KwaMashu that focusses on an array of factors that contribute towards holistic community development. These aspects include educational development, women and children development, and health programmes.
I have two project that I have registered under my name:
1. is early childhood centre for those kids living with disabilities
2. Learning Academy where will be teaching teachers for earl leaning upper toddlers on how to give them confident that there are part of our society and has every right to live with us

This innovative project merges the art of 3D design with African cultural storytelling, creating a unique chess set that features iconic African kings, queens, sangomas, warriors, infrastructure and spirituality. Each piece is meticulously crafted through 3D printing, the chess board utilizes laser cutting and IOT, embodying the spirit and history of the Mfecane wars. Accompanied by an animated narrative, the chess set serves as an educational tool, bringing history to life. The project extends into the digital realm with a VR component, offering an immersive experience that transports users into the world of African mythology. This blend of physical artistry and virtual reality not only celebrates African heritage but also showcases the potential of technology in preserving and sharing culture.
Its an esucational tool, which I developed an audio book that is reading the messages from the voice that is coming from the audio device. It can be translate to any language that is suitablz to the target market. It can be done for any educational projects, it can be used for children, blinds people, older people, illiterate people and anyone who is willing to learn a particular language.
Оur project is with a group of women all in the recycling space working together. my application is going to be with their support. we want to start the recycling school and skills center for people to get educated on the business and importance of recycling, this would be the first recycling school (fully dedicated to recycling) currently we train communities in small spaces and we wish to take LIID design to commercial production as waste streams allow and jobs are scarce. we will be giving people training to be recyclers or crafters using the waste material from the biomass or the post consumer recyclate. we will have factory to make pads, fabrics, stationary woven furniture, baskets and mats. without better machines we are limited to hand crafts but after communication with women in other countries we have confidence that we can establish a skills center and factory dedicated to environmental sustainability.

The organisation is committed to empowering the lives of young girls
living in rural areas and townships by providing educational support
especially STEM programs as well as socio economic support and one
on one mentorship guidance.
Poverty and education are inextricably linked, because children living in
poverty may stop going to school so they can work, which leaves them
without literacy and numeracy skills they need to advance their
livelihoods.
Our organisation knows the effects of poverty on children especially
young girls which can lead to lifelong struggles, particularly when
young girls don’t receive proper education and support.
To empower individuals to enter the industry through developing, marketing and conducting innovative and market competitive training programmes to emerging entrepreneurs or workers in Africa, aspiring towards manufacturing candles, cosmetics, detergents, surface cleaners as well as perfume, in accordance with the relevant standards of quality, best practices as well as health and safety, by any measure ensuring cost effectiveness, sustainability and positive impact on the environment

The project mainly aims to enhance student’s academic performance, particularly in STEM subjects, languages, and critical thinking skills. It leverages a blend of online and in-person tutoring, coaching, collaboration sessions, led by qualified experts, to address gaps in regular schooling. Additionally, it includes enrichment classes, holiday camps, university preparatory program, mentorship components and cultural exchanges to foster global understanding and cooperation among participants from these emerging economies.
My Community Baking Classes project aims to partner with local community centers, schools, and non-profit organizations to provide accessible and engaging baking classes. These classes will cover a range of skills, from fundamental baking techniques to advanced cake decorating, catering to different skill levels and interests. The project is designed to empower community members by equipping them with valuable culinary skills, fostering a sense of accomplishment, and encouraging creativity. Through these classes, Tshililo hopes to create a supportive environment where participants can learn, share, and connect, ultimately giving back to the community and enriching lives.
Tlhase-Lesedi is a Mathematical Institute that alleviates the high failure rate in Mathematics in the Greater Taung Local Education
Municipality (LEO).

In our country, there is a noticeable absence of production houses owned by young women, creating a significant gap for aspiring female business owners in the entertainment industry. This gap is not just a void in ownership but also in representation and leadership roles for young women.The establishment of production houses owned by young women is crucial as it serves as a beacon of inspiration for young girls who dream of becoming successful businesswomen in the future. By showcasing that it is indeed possible to thrive in the entertainment industry, we aim to encourage and empower the next generation of female entrepreneurs.The entertainment industry predominantly features males in higher positions, highlighting the need for initiatives like ours. Our project focuses on creating a production company that prioritises hiring women as the majority of its employees. This deliberate choice is intended to empower women both within our country and the entertainment sector at large.Our vision extends beyond entertainment; we aspire to create stories that not only entertain but also educate the world about South Africa and the challenges its people face. We are committed to shedding light on the struggles experienced by women and youth, challenging societal norms and stereotypes that persist across generations. Through our narratives, we aim to confront issues such as the evolving perceptions of masculinity in African society and the role of women in the 21st century, especially within families that uphold traditional African values. By amplifying these voices and narratives, we strive to initiate meaningful conversations, foster understanding, and drive positive change in our society.
My project is about training women to each other and for women to provide for themselves. The main aim of this strategies is to eradicate oppression and abuse against women. Women should feel free in the streets and in our home and when we have experienced a trauma we should be given therapeutic interventions to help us heal. This project will have security program inside where we will be trained to protect ourselves and protect other women in the streets upon completion of this programme they will be rewarded with certification of completion.
The project is to acquire equipment, materials and tools for the KellyGirl Skills Academy to be able to train women and youth in shoemaking and furniture programmes.
Fintr uses games to teach youth and teens about money. We believe that through Fintr’s Game-Based Learning
approach, kids are more likely to build positive financial behaviours.

Atlegang Growth SA is an applications assistance company and edu-tech company. As an applications assistance company we assist learners and youth in SA with applications into University nationally and internationally/college and for bursaries and scholarships. We offer applications assistance into our work abroad programme in the form of Au pairs. We also offer an artificial intelligence and psychology course for unemployed youth in SA to empower them to be equipped for the fourth industrial revolution.
The Education Project is for Quizzes for children in schools. The Quiz competitions will touch on different subjects but most importantly will focus on Science and Mathematics to encourage children to love the subjects with being feared that they are difficult. They will get material and resources to help them excell. The quiz will also include coding, AI and more digital knowledge. Schools will register and have teams to compete. The venue will have quiz screens and bars for choosing answers or indicating to answer. the competitions will be national then expand to BRICS states.
Our education system currently is still deprived of robotics technology learning in schools as part of the curriculum. Becoming something totally new and newly exposed to students when reaching tertiary level. The panic to this totally new language to be understood by what one is trying to communicate to/being designed to be instructed or communicated with. While the major issue faced is this knowledge is only accessed in tertiary education in university. And another being the lack of educators in schools with the knowledge and skill of electronics programming and design. Solution The establishment is to focus on giving some community support, together to help shape the future. Learners aimed or targeted at, to be entering a career choice or role in the engineering field from the grades 10, 11, to 12 to start engaging in coding and designing skills. By providing services of giving basic lessons of learning, creating codes, building of electronic circuits, designing, and programming. This is to cultivate the innovative minds, bringing the imaginations of solutions to existence. A window to quality knowledge of the evolving evolution headed to. Without being elective of any specific gender but in interest on same minds.
