OBE(Soup) Garden for every Woman
About:

The OBE Garden Initiative.

In 2021, after COVID -19 highlighted food insecurity in urban areas, I launched the OBE Garden Initiative

What is OBE?

In Yoruba Culture, OBE means Soup. Soup the heart of every meal. We believe, “No Soup, No Food, Yes Soup Yes Food”

Recognizing its importance, the OBE Initiative focuses on teaching women how to grow all the necessary ingredients to cook soup.

We teach women how to create OBE Gardens, growing leafy vegetables , fruit vegetables and Natural Spices

The initiative is also encouraging usage of natural spices in cooking.

Aim of OBE Garden:

1. Food Security for households
2. Improved nutrition and health
3. Economic Empowerment for women
