On Food Security and Agriculture for Nigeria
Comfy’s Local Spice is dedicated to enhancing the culinary and agricultural value of locust beans. Our focus is on producing high-quality locust bean products while exploring sustainable solutions, such as utilizing the water from cooking locust beans as an eco-friendly insecticide. This initiative not only preserves a vital aspect of our cultural heritage but also promotes environmental sustainability and health. By combining traditional practices with modern innovation, we aim to create a positive impact in our community and contribute to the growing demand for natural, locally sourced products.

The OBE Garden Initiative.
In 2021, after COVID -19 highlighted food insecurity in urban areas, I launched the OBE Garden Initiative
What is OBE?
In Yoruba Culture, OBE means Soup. Soup the heart of every meal. We believe, “No Soup, No Food, Yes Soup Yes Food”
Recognizing its importance, the OBE Initiative focuses on teaching women how to grow all the necessary ingredients to cook soup.
We teach women how to create OBE Gardens, growing leafy vegetables , fruit vegetables and Natural Spices
The initiative is also encouraging usage of natural spices in cooking.
Aim of OBE Garden:
1. Food Security for households
2. Improved nutrition and health
3. Economic Empowerment for women
