Formulation of Edible Coat for Enhancing Shelf Life of Fruits and Vegetables
About:

We have developed a water soluble, easy to use, non-toxic, edible coat [Patent Filed] which can efficiently prevent moisture loss, microbial decomposition, over ripening and browning of fruits and vegetables without the need of refrigeration and efficiently enhance their shelf-life, post-harvest. The formulation can prevent spoilage up to 15 days as found in lab and pilot scale field trial studies.
