On April 9, 2024, the BRICS WBA Chairpersons Meeting took place in an online format. Representatives from the BRICS WBA National Chapters, including Russia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, and recently joined Egypt, attended the event.

Anna Nesterova, Global Chairperson of BRICS WBA, welcomed the participants, covered the work completed and plans for the near future. In particular, Anna Nesterova paid attention to the upcoming BRICS Women's Enterpreneurship Forum that will take place in June 2-4, 2024, preparation of the BRICS WBA Annual Report 2024, and launch of the BRICS Women's Sturtups Contest.

During the meeting, experts from the BRICS WBA Russian Chapter presented their projects "Women in Law Network", "BRICS Mobility Center", "Care Economy. BRICS White Paper", "School on Financial Literacy and Security for Women in BRICS countries", "BRICS Tourism: Sustainable Development and Safety", "BRICS ID CLUB". The participants agreed on the importance and relevance of the initiatives proposed, demonstrated their readiness to be engaged in the implementation of the projects.

Moreover, National Chapters' representatives expressed aspirations to integrate new BRICS members in the Alliance's activities.
