On March 14, 2024, Anna Nesterova, Chairperson of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, met with Ambassador Nazih Elnaggary, Ambassador of Egypt to the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, Anna Nesterova introduced the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, told about its activities, goals and objectives, projects and initiatives, as well as plans for the period of the Russian Federation's BRICS Chairship.

The main topic of the meeting was the accession of Egypt to BRICS in 2024 and the process of appointing representatives of the national part of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance in Egypt.

During the meeting, Anne Nesterova invited Mr. Nazih Elnaggary to participate in the BRICS Women's Entrepreneurship Forum, the BRICS Women's Business Alliance Panel Session at SPIEF, and asked the Ambassador of Egypt to disseminate information about the BRICS Women's Startup Competition among women entrepreneurs in Egypt.

Following the meeting, Mr. Nazih Elnaggary promised to assist in establishing direct contacts with women's business associations in Egypt and accepted invitations to participate in the BRICS Women's Business Alliance events.
