President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, and President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa took part in the meeting.

Zhao Haiying, Pro-Tempore Chairperson of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, also participated in the summit with the report on the Alliance's main achievements.
